No Referral Required

Reception areaYou don’t need a referral from your physician to start chiropractic care. Chiropractors are portal-of-entry providers, meaning you can schedule directly with us. We’re here to help whether you’re dealing with acute pain, chronic conditions, sports injuries, pregnancy discomfort, or simply want to maintain optimal wellness.

Insurance & Payment Options

We accept most major insurance plans in our area, including UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Medicare, and UMR. Our front desk team will verify your coverage and explain your benefits at your first visit.

We also offer flexible payment options to make care accessible:

  • All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • CareCredit financing for extended payment plans
  • Prepaid family packages that can be shared among household members
  • Cash and check

Please note: Colorado Medicaid does not cover chiropractic benefits according to the state’s guidelines.

Here’s What To Expect

First Visit

You can plan on being here for about 45 minutes if you complete your paperwork ahead of time, which will be sent to your email or phone after you schedule. You’ll meet our front desk staff when you walk in, who will get your insurance information from you and explain any necessary additional paperwork. You will then be escorted to the examination room. Dr. Carroll will introduce himself and sit down with you to discuss what you are seeking care for. Then, we’ll do a thorough examination that involves orthopedic and neurological testing, along with X-rays when appropriate.

Whether or not you receive a chiropractic adjustment on the first visit is dependent on the findings of your examination – if you’re wondering why, read about The KaitLynn Rule. Dr. Carroll wants to take his time to review your exam findings and make sure we have the correct approach to your care identified before we begin.

Second Visit

When you return, Dr. Carroll will go over a full report of his findings with you. You’ll understand the problem we have found, what we plan to do to help you, and the approach we’ll take with your care. Then, you’ll receive your first adjustment.

Continuing Care

There’s a commonly-held belief that if you start chiropractic care, you’ll always have to go. That’s simply not true. You always choose how long you wish to benefit from chiropractic care. We recommend continued maintenance after you’ve completed your initial course of care because most people find that once they start feeling better, they want to keep feeling better. Research shows that ongoing chiropractic care helps reduce re-injury rates and days lost from work. But the choice is always yours.

Your Personalized Care Plan

Dr. Carroll will provide customized home exercises to support your recovery, starting with simple stretches and progressively adding more as appropriate for your condition. We can also help patients who’ve had previous back surgery, adapting our approach to your specific situation and treating other areas of your spine as needed.

Most patients begin experiencing relief anywhere from their first treatment to within two to three weeks, though individual timelines vary based on how long the injury has been present, previous traumas, and previous treatments you’ve tried.
